So the renovations continue, I have to be honest and tell you that the mess and disorganisation can be very annoying despite the fact that the end result will be wonderful.
Ive posted a few pictures of the start of the renovation where by the bar and sauna were ripped out to be replaced with a master ensuite bedroom (not blogged about that yet) we moved the laundry room into the garage to make another powder room and we made a start on the family room, kitchen area. Im not to sure how long it would have taken people with no reeno skills to get as far as we have but in a week the kitchen units are up, the crown moulding is done, the underlay and laminate is down, the pony wall separating the kitchen units from the fridge area is built and now this weekend the hubby has made the centre island. Its totally transformed the space and i must admit im quite happy with how its looking.
here are a few more pictures to share:
This was the start of it going down
The crown moulding is up just to caulk/fill in the gaps
The colours we chose, Canadian Sky is for the walls and Quiet retreat is on the ceiling, they both have a blue/grey look.
Here's the hubby continuing to lay the flooring, my job was to open the boxes and bring the flooring to him!
Sounds like a huge job! Keep us updated with how its going! I love before and after shots of renovations! Good luck with it all!
